ABT Electronics is a 300,000 square foot retail and warehouse facility in Glenview, Illinois that was being constructed simultaneously with the power generation system.  Ballard Engineering installed two(2) Waukesha  825kW natural gas fired generator sets scheduled to run during peak hours and provide emergency back-up power.  This facility serves as an example  of how new facilities under construction can incorporate power/cogeneration into their project.

Ballard Engineering installed a 3,000KW distributed power/cogeneration system at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, Wisconsin.  The system provides maximum flexibility to both the hospital and local utility company in regards to electricity, heating, air conditioning, and hot water usage.
